Barb - Was absolutely my pleasure to be able to help you with the trees, and definitely the least I could do for you after all you've done for me. Besides, it was fun and my holiday seasons usually come with a significant lack of fun, so really I should be the one to thank you.

Only sorry that I had to leave so soon like that......but there was a certain danger of my losing the ability to get myself home and becoming a more permanent fixture in your guest room ;) Fortunately, the parents were far too involved in their own drama to notice my condition when I got here, so there were no lectures about my driving and now, after quite a while in a more vertical position, and my good friend diazepan most of the shaking is gone....so I'm happy to say the gurney won't be necessary :)

Hope that the glue is holding nicely on the baby tree and that kitty is enjoying the new forest. Glad that you'll be nice and festive for your sister's visit this weekend. You don't ever have to thank me for my help......just know it is always there for you to count on. Hugs. TriciaBARBARA TORREY wrote:

To All:

A long note and a big thank you to each and everyone of your for all of your kind support this past year. I couldn't have emotionally made it through without you.

I want to take a moment and act like the President or something and acknowledge the staying power of Tricia during the past twenty-four hours. Together, and it could only have happened with Tricia's support and are mutually shared insomnia, we decorated FOUR Christmas trees at my house last night. Granted, they were artificial (yuk) and weren't exactly eight foot pop-your-eyes-out Blue Spruces, but we did it !! We decorated two four foot trees, a three footer and a two footer, not to mention a little table-top one totally made of beads.

Now this may not sound like much all on its own, but I have this funky little fetish. I lost every last one of my Christmas decorations, including all of the ones that had been past down to me when my folks died, when I moved several years ago (long story). I therefore had to start from scratch last year. Well, silly me, decided to go with a little tree last year and use just tiny little miniature ornaments, some smaller than one-half inch. So picture this....All of the trees that we decorated, a veritable forest of them, were done only with hundreds of tiny little ornaments. The way I figure it, we would have spent far less time if I had just gone with a big tree with normal sized ornaments. So.....publicly....thank you Tricia. Lordy, what the heck time was it when we went to bed? My sister was going to hlep but then couldn't so I had been faced with doing it by

myself. I don't know about you guys, but to me there's nothing more depressing than trimming a tree by yourself. I wish that you all could been here, but Tricia's help made me feel far less alone. Having left here this morning looking like she could use a gurnery, I hope that poor Tricia is now asleep ! My love to all of you - Barbara
