Guest guest
I am continuing to opt for wait and watch (16 yrs)at 52. My 6 mo US shows no change in 14 wk uterine size, or fibroid and focal adeno size, thin endo lining(good sign).Cancer tests are benign.(very good sign) Not ready for intervention just yet! Resolution: drop the 10 pounds I have picked up over the past 5 years.I read estrogens store in fat (maybe it will help) Holistically:I continue to exercise & maintain a low good fat diet with " minimal " animal products which I have followed most of my adult life.I strongly feel this has helped my health over the long haul.I have eaten whole foods for 20 years.I do a lot of not so good elective things too, like drink coffee, wine and dine out. I live in a suburb where herbicides are pored on the lawns (estrogenic effects) Can't change that! A day or 2 of very heavy bleeding each month is the symptom that has always concerned me.My blood tests show I am not anemic. So... I elect to travel to Honolulu, Australia (Sydney,Adelide), New Zealand (Marlborough,Wellington)over the next 2 months and would like to know of good womens hospitals in those areas should problems arise. Can anyone make some recomendations for any of these? I would feel better having any info in hand before I leave.
