The anesthesiologist for my thumb fusion in Oct. was informed about my poor

respond to local anesthetics before he was to do a regional block.

He had it numbed up, gave me something to relax(put me out a bit), and even

before the surgeon was in the OR, I was letting him know the tourniquet was

hurting....his response was " Already!?! "

He was injecting it frequently to keep it numbed up....he earned his fee.
