Guest guest
I have warm and fuzzies for both statements. Statement number one: Ah, this is the statement that says I can still have the freedom to eat the things that made me fat, but in moderation, but then if I eat those things I won't get very much to eat and I will be hungry in order to stay in the point range. So, this is where I learn temperance. Statement number two: Ah, I can eat lots of food, like veggies, hamburgers in the form of Boca burgers, lots of oatmeal, etc. I won't be as hungry, but I will still kinda crave some of the foods from the first statement. This is where I lose the most weight but it doesn't last because its too strict. I think that Weight Watchers Zen comes somewhere in the middle of these two statements. That is when everything is in balance and I am happiest. Its been a little hard for me to find that Zen lately, and perhaps if I consider that its not one or the other, but a balance between the two I will yet again achieve Weight Watchers Zen. (wink). Question of the day 7/21 How do you feel about these two statements, and why? 1)The most important thing on WW is to stay within your allotted points, & it doesn't matter that much what you eat. 2)Eating the most nutritious food possible (most days) within your points should be our major objective on WW. My Answer: I really believe that we should stay within our points. Between our target, APs, and flex I find it very difficult to go over my points. I do believe that we need to play around with the points (all three) and figure out where the right mix is for us. I also believe that eating the most nutritious foods are the best, however I don't always do it. What about you? Maureen

Guest guest
I personally think that it is vitally important to eat healthfuly whether or not you are following WW. And if you are following WW it should not be an excuse to eat non healthful things as long as you stay within your points. So I think that eating right and staying within your point range are both very important. I personally don't do flex points or activity points, if I want extra points I eat at the bottom of my range and save up the extra. This seems to be working very well. 262/247.5/140 > How do you feel about these two statements, and why? > 1)The most important thing on WW is to stay within your allotted points, & it doesn't matter that much what you eat. > 2)Eating the most nutritious food possible (most days) within your points should be our major objective on WW. > > My Answer: > > I really believe that we should stay within our points. This is what makes WW unique. I try 90% of the time to eat my points using nutritiuos foods that fuel my body. BUT, the program allows me to include things that other " diets " would never allow, which makes me feel less deprived. It allows me to get in my nutrition, but also make the program a part of my lifestyle by being able to eat things people on " diets " never can. I mean, come on, I'm not going to go the rest of my life without enjoying a decadent dessert! April

Guest guest
I see so many people try and cram as much junk food as they can into their alloted points each day. I use to be one of them. The thing with doing that is you will never be satisfied and you will never be able to stick with the plan FOR LIFE. I am looking at this now as a healthy change and losing weight will just be an added benefit. I want to be fit and healthy. That's the lifestyle change for me, not eating as much junk as I can. The program can be worked to eat everything in moderation. If I want a chinese meal, or a serving of chips every now and then I can definatly have it as long as I have accounted for it and it does not become something I do often.
