Hi

I was on the duragesic patch for a while in the summer and had really

bad nausea and chills/sweats from it. The doctor did mention that he

would like me on it but i think he is waiting until a little closer

to the surgery (nov 16th, bursectamy R knee) until he uses that. He

did mention that i probably had the side effects becasue the gp didnt

really perescribe it correctly and there should have been a strong

anti-nauseant accompanying it. I believe i saw a memo in the pain

clinic stating that percocet and oxycontin would no longer be

perscribed. I dont know if this is a government thing or strictly at

their clinic. I will definatly ask him about it in two weeks, thank

you for alerting me to the possible side effects.
