Guest guest Posted January 22, 2004 Report Share Posted January 22, 2004 Hi Sunny, I did ask Dr. today at my follow up appt. and she told me exactly what you just said, that ultra sounds and MRI will image things differently. I thought I had seperate fibroids because of ultra sounds that I had had several different places. Turned out to be one large one with different components to it. After the FUS treatment they did a follow up MRI which showed a large area of the fibroid successfully necrosed. It seems strange that I would have immediate results but for the past two nights since the treatment I'm only getting up once to pee instead of every two hours.
