Guest guest
I am so glad to have found this site! I did not even know what uterine fibroids were till a week and half ago when I went in for my yearly pap. I am 40 years old too! I obtained a copy of my ultra sound report and I am not sure what some of this stuff means..I do know that the fibroid seems to me to be big in relation to the size of my utereous. The terminology is over my head! This is what it says: " There is an enlarged uterine fundus with echogenic mass off from the fundus involving the serosal area suggesting a fibroid..(someone interpret)...There is no free fluid in the pelvis. The uterous measures 9.5 cm * 6.8 cm * 8.4 cm in size and the fibroid measures 5.4* cm * 4.4 cm * 4 cm in size. " I also have a follicular cyst in my right ovary...Anyway if anyway can interpret what this all means I would really like help. Thank you all for sharing your stories as well,
