I went to my original Dr. the one with the nurse that told me " We would all like to pop some speed to get our housework done " , and then told me that Dr. Heavner is NOT going to give me Armour. Well, he was very nice to me today and so was his nurse! I told him that I seen another Dr. not that I want to switch, but I had no choice since I knew 100% that Armour was my answer. I told him that I am on a support group list and many of the women are doing so much better getting off of synthroid and on Armour. I said much more and also let him know what his nurse said to me. To make a long story short, he told me that I didn't need to change Dr's, he has no problem giving me Armour and even gave me 90 mg's instead of 60 mg's. Now I have all this Armour!! :-)) I still have 3 refills on the 60 mgs. I will need to go to a different pharmacy so I can get both prescriptions refilled. LOL This is not illegal is it?? Oh, I also told him that the Dr. that gave me the Armour said that I might have Alzheimer's!! I think that shocked him, and he assured me that I don't! Looks like we might be able to communicate now! Being polite, but firm, helped. I let him know that if I had to, I would find a Dr. that would agree to treat my symptoms and give me the Armour! I wish you all the best in finding Dr's. I really don't like the idea of the generic. I even have all this generic stuff now too!
