Guest guest Posted March 11, 2004 Report Share Posted March 11, 2004 HI all, I have been away for almost a month due to my computer dying and having to be sent to Sony yada, yada, yada. I want to thank everyone who sent me clothes and things and I want to let you know that things that didn't fit were given to a place called the clothing exchange where people in RI can go if they have hada fire or some other disaster where they have lost everything and the clothing exchange gives them evreything they would need for free so they can continue to go to work etc....... Now I have a new medical problem. I have chronic osteomyletis in my right ankle that I had fused last year. Whether it came from that surgery or back almost 15 years ago when I had a mycobacterial infection. The infectious disease doc says she has seen them return as much as 30 years later. So I was suppossed to have surgery on Monday but the anastesiologists refused to give me anestesia saying with the EDS they wuill perforate my trachea so I had to go today and get clearence from an ENT which they said was fine. Now the ortho will be out of town and I have to wait another two weeks for my surgery. Grrrrrrrrrrr. BTW craig has been sober for three months now. He is coming up for the week on Saturday to look for jobs as well as he was planning to be with me for my post surgery because my roomates are going to be away for a week and no one wanted me home alone for a week rigth after surgery. Hope all is well with everyone and if anyone knows anything about chronic osteomyletis I'd love to know about it. I am about to go look it up now. I went through serious internet withdrawl!
