Guest guest
Thank you so much Abby, I will definitely try your advice. has some very specific symptoms of the mercury poisoning including excessive sweating and very unusual muscle jerking. It may be just me getting impatient, but I am so anxious to get started on chelation. will be 8 on friday and I feel like I am losing precious time here. The runny nose is now so bad that it is running down in his throat and the poor kid is coughing up a storm at night. He tells me that he is feeling fine, but he would say that even if he was on his death bed just to prevent a doctors visit, lol. Zyrtec is a perscription allergy medicine. I have given him Benadryll before but it really drugs him up and I can't bring myself to do that to him during the daytime. Can I find the remedies you talked about at a health food store? Jane AJ <Ajwilson@...> wrote: >>He has always had allergies this time of year but it is REALLY bad right now. Any take on giving him the Zyrtec? Will I be able to chelate if I do that? I am looking for a more natural remedie for the allergies. Hi Jane Sounds like he has an over active immune system. In other words, one that reacts to harmless things as if they were harmful. Allergies are the result of an immune system that is always on high alert. If I'm not mistaken heavy metal toxicity is one of the causes of a immune system problem where the immune system cannot relax. Herbs to calm an overactive immune system are astragalus and marshmallow root. They strengthen the immune system while calming it down. Apple cider vinegar and honey can be used to cut down the mucous but this problem is usually worse with food related allergies. You should be able to use Zyrtec with the herbs, just take them at least 30 minutes apart. Check with doctor to be sure as you don't want one to prevent the absorption of the other. I think I would try a round of chelation even with allergies and take Zyrtec (don't know what it is) or something if necessary. The metals may need to be reduced before he can get better in which case putting it off may be counter productive. However, see if someone who has had this problem gives better advice as I can't say for sure. Abby
Guest guest
You should be able to the herbs or something containing them at most HFS. Unfortunately I " m not in the US. Many people talk about www.iherb.com so maybe check there if you want to buy something online. One of my books mentions BioAllers as a company that makes homeopathic remedies for allergies. You might check into that company. But ask at the shop. Some other ideas. Pollen count is apparently highest between 5 am and 10 am. Keep him inside if possible during this period. If you have the money invest in an air filter for his room. Stay inside on windy days. Best time to go outside is after rain. I had allergies as a teenager and all medicines, prescription or otherwise made me groggy. That is an unfortunate side effect of most allergy medicine. Guest guest
Thank you so much, Abby. I will check with our local health food store. Otherwise I will order it online. It has been a little better the last few days. I have noticed a pattern of it getting bad over the weekends (when people are home and cutting their grass). is extremely sensitive to meds and I have actually used the Benadryll on the airplane to combat the jetlag when we go visit my parents in Denmark. Guest guest
Be aware that liquid homeopathics generally contain alcohol (from grain so probably contain gluten). Homeopathic pellets are in a lactose base so apparently contain casein. S > You should be able to the herbs or something containing them at most HFS.<BR> Unfortunately I " m not in the US. Guest guest
I didn't even think about that. Thanks for making me aware of it. Tomorrow is my son's birthday and I let him have a regular cupcake tonight. Boy, did I pay the price: glazed over eyes, laughing hysterically........ Yup, the diet is working.
