They made me hungry all the time too. I worried all the time I would fall and break a bone. I was finally able to get off of them. Maybe you can too some day. In fact my daughter-in-law said to me the other day that she was looking at pictures of me from a couple of years ago and I don't even look the same anymore. I have been on Prednisone for over 2 years now. I alsso have the 'buffalo hump' (very attractive) and the fat upper abdomen now. It's depressing the changes that occur to your body with the steroids but as my friends and doctors tell me be thankful for the drug that has kept you alive and you are still the same person inside.
