Guest guest
Hi Cindy , Thanks for writing me back! I just can't bear the thought of loosing another kitty, they are all so precious! They're my kids. Neither one of us expected this so soon after losing my 20 year old Scooter. I still break down and cry. I miss her so, but at least she's not suffering anymore. I agree husbands say the dumbest things.I wish there was an owners manual. He just doesn't listen, it's like he has his head buried in the sand.Gees he hears me moan in pain every night whenever I have to turn. What planet did he come from? He's seen me be in pain all the time over the last three years. I just don't understand how he could say something so dumb to the Dr. That makes me look like a big fake! I'm glad your kitty is doing well! Sincerely, S. Re: was NIH Update/now kitties and husbands > , > I'm so sorry to hear your kitty has lymphoma. It would be so hard to have one gone only a couple months ago, and then to find this out about the other one. > I don't know what I'd do without my kitty-cat. She's going to be 15 in a couple months. She's lived the longest of any I've had. It broke my heart each time one of the others passed away. I get pretty attached to them. > > My hubby will do the same thing yours did....tell others(oh, and the dr. too) that I'm fine, as I lay there in agony....there have only been a couple times he didn't. One was last year to a rheumie-when I needed pain meds after a surgery, and one a couple days ago when talking to his brother. > I could be in agony and scheduled for a surgery shortly, and he'd tell people I was doing just fine!!!! Now figure that out! > Do husbands come with operating manuals that instruct them to say this no matter what? or are they too proud? in denial? or what? I could scream when he does that! > CindyH > Wisc > ~~ > From: ngsamuelson > The Dr. asked how I was doing and he told him I had a little trouble with my left shoulder but was OK. > > Now our youngest kitty, 3 years old has Lymphoma, started her on Chemo today. My precious Scooter died only 2 months ago. > >
Guest guest
I agree husbands say the dumbest things.I wish there was an owners manual. ---------------- Actually, there is one - it is published jointly by Sports Illustrated and Hugh Hefner. Won't do you any good though because you have to pass one of those Olympics gender tests with a minimum Testosterone score and a written exam covering bathroom humor, infantile behaviour, and sports trivia to be able to buy one. I think the current edition is titled " Self Defense for the Picked Upon Male. "
