Guest guest
Don't concentrate on the next 20, 40, or 100 pounds. Concentrate on the next five pounds. Better yet, concentrate on staying completely on program and the pounds take care of themselves. You'll find that the weigh in is important only for the five minutes you're weighing in and you'll learn to say " Okay, I didn't see what I wanted to see...but was I on program? Did I exercise? Did I eat right? Yes! So I'll lose next week. " My pattern when I was losing was a big loss followed by a teeny, tiny one or a no loss. I didn't really gain, but I'd have 2-3 weeks of teeny losses, then a 3 or even 4 pound loss. I learned really quickly to gauge my success by meeting goals, feeling good, loose pants, and not the scale on a week to week basis. Then on a month ot month basis I could look at the trend...is it going down? Yup! And I'd feel good about that. That doesn't mean that when I had a 0 loss I'd be like " Oh well! " At first I'd get kind of ticked, and then I'd go through my questions; " did I eat right, stay within points, exercise, etc. " and as long as I could answer yes, I'd let it go. > Re: 5 down, 95 to go > > > > > > > > > Interesting all right, what a little ole' personal > > commitment will do > > > to one...you little tid-bit on Roy's competitiveness > is cute..the > > > little ole' nasty coming out of him eh > Tory!....lol..best to you > > > both... > > > ~~Kallie~ > > > > > > =================================================================== > > > In Serious-Weight-Watchers , " Tory Klementsen " > > > <msteechur@e...> wrote: > > > > This week Roy and I started a 100 day running > > challenge.
