I am sorry to hear of your troubles. It is very hard for people to understand how we feel. One thing that helped me is this. When I lived in Los Angeles and was first dxed, I joined a support group at a local hospital. It was headed by a Rheumatologist. I got a lot of info on meds, what books to get, and papers on the subject. Once awhile they allowed a family member to join in. My husband began to gain understanding and sympathy. It took quite awhile but it helped. Look for a support group at a hospital. Call around. Here is some info for you to print out for him. Ask him to read it. Ask him to read some of the posts here too. My husband still has trouble understanding sometimes and gets impatient with me. I recently posted a complaint about him too.

If I talk about my pain and fatague a lot to help him understand, he complains that I complain all the time. If I don't mention it, he forgets I have pain & gets impatient with me.

It is good that you came here. We all have problems and understand you. Whine away girl!!

I was in a large book store not long ago and say several books on lupus and fibro. The library may even have some. The American Lupus Society has some too.

I hope your son comes back ok. The majority of them do you know. I know you can't help worrying about him in spite of the statistics in his favor.

If I were you, I would drop one of your jobs before you end up in the hospital. People with lupus need lots of rest and you can't get around that fact.

MY HUBBY IS 45 , NUMBER 2 LOL , HE HAS BEEN SAYING THINGS THAT ARE REALLY HURTING ME a lot LATELY, LIKE THE OTHER DAY HE SAID I ALWAYS SAY I AM SICK ? I HAVE SLE , FIBRO , RAY, DEPRESSION, HECK a lot OF CRAP LOL ,I TOLD HIM BEFORE WE MARRIED I HAD LUPUS , HE SAID HE DID NOT MINE , HE WOULD HELP TAKE CARE OF ME ! WE HAVE BEEN MARRIED 2 YEARS THIS LAST MARCH ! HE ALSO WANTS ME TO WORK , WORK ! LIKE 2 JOBS ! I CAN'T ! I GET WAY TO TIRED !
