A good friend of mine (non-EDSer) has just been diagnosed with a macular tear and must have surgery. It is an out-patient surgery but for two weeks after the surgery she cannot raise her eyes. She must keep her eyes toward the floor at all times - even while sleeping. She is not looking forward to this at all. I promised her husband I would help in anyway I can. Have any of you had this surgery, and if so, do you have any suggestions I can give her. I am sorry for the three losses the CEDA has experienced. My condolences to all.
