Guest guest Posted January 23, 2004 Report Share Posted January 23, 2004 Hello everyone, I am a 32 year old African American female that was first diagnosed with uterine fibroids in 1998. I had a myo that removed 19 fibroids the largest at the size of a navel orange. I became pregnant in December 2000 and misscarried late in the next month. In the emergency room the doctor said I had 5 more fibriods but said that probably was not the cause of the lost of my child. After have an ultrasound, the largest is about 9 cm and the others about 4 to 5 cm. My uterus is the about the size of a 16 week pregnancy. My husband and I have been trying to concieve since then but have not been successful. My question is to anyone that can help me is another myo wise or there any other option for me to treat fibriods but still preserve my fertility? I am now infertile due to my growing fibroids?
