Yes, it acts like a beauty mark... the one flaw makes her seem

attainable and somewhat girl-next-door. I'm sure she has a website

you could find a picture on, or just go get one of her CDs... they

are great! If you want even more ammo, also bring in a picture of

Madonna, she has a good sized gap between her front teeth.

Personally, I think Jewel is prettier than Madonna, though.

Same thing with Hutton, who has a gap. She wore an orthotic type thing

for modeling for years. Now, she just goes natural.

I've seen pictures of Madonna with a gap too. I don't know it that's natural or

not.

My teeth aren't perfect. Sounds like me and have the same teeth.

I think, as long as they aren't really obvious - like totally messed up, or

giving her trouble, then it looks good.

More and more people are enjoying their little flaws.

Even though plastic surgery is on the rise, I think people are seeing that

little flaws are character building.

If it doesn't bother your daughter, then it doesn't matter. Right?

Dentists suck money from people left and right. Like all those xrays they take

every year. They aren't necessary, and it's bad for your kids. I no longer let

them take xrays all the time. And, we've been having appts for cleanings every

6 months, but now I'm changing it to every year. That's all we did when I was a

kid. None of my kids have ever had a cavity, and they are teenagers. So, I

don't think all that dental care is necessary. Just 's mouth needed a

lot of work. I think will end up with braces, but we aren't rushing into

anything. His teeth aren't perfect, but they aren't really messed up either.

I just think I've made my kids get too much dental care, and it's not necessary.
