Guest guest Posted June 3, 2002 Report Share Posted June 3, 2002 Hi, I got an appt to see my PCP this evening. He did x-rays of my back and said he didn't see anything except a narrowing. I don't know what he was talking about but he said it was nothing to worry about. After this past year and all the tests I've had, I don't trust doctors that are not that familiar with chiari. He gave me a DX for vicodin which I know nothing about. I don't know a lot about pain medications because I haven't had to take any until now. Does this work? Is it strong or addictive? I guess I'll take it because I didn't sleep much last night. He also has me set up for physical therapy. I know I've read about it being dangerous to chiarians but is that just for the neck ? I think he wants me to do back therapy. Would this be harmful? I want to thank everyone for replying to my last post about new symptoms. I got several answers and they all made sense. That's why I like to hear from you all and most of you have been thru all I'm about to go thru. Could you please help again?
