Guest guest
During the time my Stupidendo told me NOT to take beta blockers anymore, because we needed to SEE the symptoms to judge my hyper ( sigh ) Hawthorne was my only way. I got the PRESCRIPTION tincture, and also the dried berries. I carry the tincture to this day, for emergencies, because it has a quick action to a point. But for the real longer affect, it seems like it was about a month before I felt more comfortable . The dried berries are ground in a coffee grinder and used in tea. Fresh each time. But this really needs to be a night time thing. Or I made it too strong. :-) The 'herb lady' where I got the first tincture and my dried berries, claims the Hawthorne is an old remedy for a 'mean heart' and a 'broken heart'. I have to admit, there may be something to this. I do feel kinder and gentler now. Of course this is easier without dangerously high blood pressure, and hyper. When I am sick, I just do not have a lot of sympathy for much of anyone else. Too busy surviving. -Pam L -
Guest guest
Thank you, Pam. This certain is worth looking into. Would love to make a tea of ground up hawthorne berries rather than taking the propranolol. If I did try the tincture, it would definitely be pharmaceutical grade.
