I never heard of the show 10.5 at all. So i don't know anything about the earthquakes or anything like that. I am just glad that we get hurricanes here. I think i would rather live through a hurricane then an earthquake anytime.

love Kimi

Being from California and having lived on the San s fault line for 22 years I just had to watch Sunday and Monday the TV show 10.5I for the most part thought how stupid - but when the earthquake was hitting SF and the Golden Gate bridge was shaking, rocking, and then collapsed - well that really hit home. The last earthquake I was in before moving to Rochester, NY was the big quake of 89' during the world series SF Giants and Oakland A's.I had just passed the Bay Bridge when that bridge had collapsed - I lost several friends in that collapse so that was real hard - but other than that I thought the movie was very unrealistic - Sure the damage is real - but here we go with people saying "California is going to fall off" I grew up hearing that and was sick of it - now I hear people around here saying it all over again all because of the movie... Gimme a breakFor those of you who watched it - give me your opinions...HugsDeanna

I currently live in San Diego. If California " falls Off " that will

be the end of the planet due to all kinds of wonderful things like

tidal waves that would cover the planet. I can't stay up late enough

to watch the program, but I'll probably rent it later. I think shows

like those are fun for the effects and a laugh for the rest.

Just a few words on this subject. I've lived through snow storms. Where I've been snowed in for atleast 2 days. (MICHIGAN) I've lived through countless tornados. Where one house was almost leveled. (OKLAHOMA) I've lived through a volcano. Where ash covered my car and the cutest cow up to her belly. (OREGON) And I've lived through several earthquakes. Where I did alot of shaking and alittle rolling. But I went through it like most people without damage to self or property. (CALIFORNIA) And if I had lived in hurricane areas. I would have moved away after the first one. SO NO MATTER WHAT THOSE OF YOU WHO ENJOY KNOWING THAT YEAR AFTER YEAR, without fail A SNOW STORM OR TWO WILL CAUSE MANY CITIES ALOT OF DAMAGE. OVER 25 TORNADOS WILL CAUSE SO MUCH DAMAGE AND LOSS OF LIFE. (AND THAT'S JUST IN OKLHOMA) MOUNT ST. HELENS SEEMS TO BE AT REST. AND AS FOR THOSE HURRICANES. THEY WILL JUST KEEP ON COMING. SO PLEASE GIVE ME CALIFORNIA'S EARTHQUAKES YEAR AFTER YEAR. MY CHANCE OF MAKING IT THROUGH WITHOUT ANY DAMAGE. IS 90% That's all I have to say. OH! And if by chance California does get to fall off. we'll just become the biggest, baddest floating island around..............BUSY BUZZ......................BUZZ.....................

I agree with you on this one hon... Even though I was one of the

lucky ones in 1989 to have just passed the bay bridge I lost many and

will never forget them. I live in one of the cities now that gets the

most snowfall and honestly - I would rather take my chances with the

earthquakes then to have to deal with what I deal with up here in NY.

But, you also couldn't pay me to live back in the Bay Area where I

once lived - the cost of living is so outragous now that - it just

isn't worth it - plus my immediate family is up here - I can always

go and visit my other family members in Cali and such - but there is

nothing like having your mothers arms able to wrap around you and if

I were to move - I would miss the most important thing to me -

mothers love...

But I still agree with you on living with earthquakes =)
