Guest guest
> Just wanted to say good luck on your trip!!! Have a nice time!!! > > > Aase Marit ------------ Thank you. We will be leaving here sometime mid-day tomorrow. Plan is to stop and see my twin brother in Salem Oregon tomorrow night (see how badly I can freak him out with some of the strange stuff that has been going on with me). Tuesday, we are just going to take our time and putz and putter along the road - basically just take a day off to relax and unwind. Knowing what I have in mind over the next six months, that may be one of very few " quiet " days I am going to get until the snow falls. Depending on which road we take, we might take a short detour to a place called Breitenbush Hot Springs in central Oregon. It's kind of an alternative lifestyle/healing retreat/spa type place built around some natural hot springs. Every once in a while they will have seminars there that sound interesting but I have never had an opportunity to check the place out. Might feel the need to take advantage of the chance this trip. You know, ground and center myself by communing with nature by running naked through the woods. Now we will see how closely Barb is paying attention, as in a post scrcching " you're going to do WHAT! " Wednesday, we pull into Reno to spend some time with my mom and one of my aunts. Going to be there for about three days. I need to work on both my mom and my aunt, particularly my aunt. We then drop to Las Vegas for a couple of days to work on a family friend and then to my wife's sister north of Los Angeles. Plan is to spend about three days there also, and yes, need to work on her too, and probably one of her neighbors. On the 22nd, we will drive to Debbi's so I can work with her before the party starts on the 23rd. " Party time " the 23rd and then head for home on the 24th. We get back here on the 26th. It may be a shake-down " vacation " trip in the RV, but I expect to be doing a fair amount of hands-on practice as well over the next couple of weeks. We leave again on the 30th for two and a half weeks in Ecuador. When we get back from that one, I expect to be home for less than a week before we take off on the big trip. If anybody has anything they need/want me to post about while we are on the road, flag them to Barb's attention so she can screen them for me for review when we get back. (1) I work with my hands, not my feet. (2) The RV has cruise control so I don't have to worry " too much " about foot pedals on the open road. (3) After some of the things I've posted lately? That didn't take any guts at all. (4) I don't know if we are even going to take that particular road yet, let alone the detour. (5) Thinking, saying and doing are three very different things. (6) And when it comes to " dares " you will recall that I didn't get caught up with " THE VIKING " and her evil plans to get tatoos on everybody in Buffalo. (7) I assure you, I would be far more likely to " dare the air " with my derriere than to ever " sink to ink " for " puns upon my buns. " (8) Well, the birds, deer and other assorted wildlife are safe from any shock tactics. Darlene just said to tell you " I'll have my camera ready.
