They are mildly spicy, but not mouth burning--just be sure to clean

all of the seeds out of the middle, as they contain the majority of

the hotness. And wash hands well after cleaning the peppers (don't

touch your eyes during this process!)--some recommend wearing gloves,

but I never have. The jalapenos are like garlic, in that they mellow

with the baking.
