Guest guest
-- Good luck with quitting -- I know how hard it is. I quit a little over two years ago and if I can, than anyone can. All the best, Love, Patti Day one, no smoking Well, I had my last (hopefully) cig at around 10:00 this morning. I got the gum. So far, I feel like crap. But, I felt like crap before I had my last cig. haha I'm telling my family not to expect anything from me, and to LEAVE ME ALONE for a few days. I feel sort of light headed. I'm also having hot flashes - but I was having those before, just not as often. Yesterday, my chest was feeling heavy, and I thought it was my allergies or the smoking. Anyway, my chest is feeling lighter, so it must be the smoking. I've been smoking a lot more than usual - about 15-20 cigs a day. I thought about that - 15-20 cigs a day. That's a cig every hour during the day. And since I sleep about 3 hours during the day, I smoke more than one cig every hour. That's incredible! Well, I thought I'd report to the board about my progress. I'll sure be embarrassed if I can't do it! My favorite quote - by Mark Twain - " Quitting smoking is easy! I've done it a hundred times! Guest guest
Well, I thought I'd report to the board about my progress. I'll sure be embarrassed if I can't do it! , I hope you can do this too! I have quit 4-5 times. I smoke maybe 2 cigarettes a day, and when I'm home, or visiting elsewhere, I never smoke. I usually just smoke when I in the car. Just knowing I can have one eases my mind. Stupid, right? But what I really wanted to say, was that it does sometimes take more trys than just one. If it does, don't beat yourself up. On the other hand, the more positive attitude you have, the easier it will be for you. The best advice I can give, is that when you want one, get busy and do something else to get your mind off of it. I read lots romance novels, and then got into detective, etc. I love to read. Good luck, I will say a prayer you can do this! I know you can! I admire you. Love Lana
