Guest guest
Hi, I'm Pam Moffat. I live in the Cleveland, OH area now, but was diagnosed with EDS while living in the Dayton, OH area. The rest of my family is in the process of being checked out and so far one neice and one brother are living with EDS. I have been told I have HEDS, however, I think we are beginning to see too many issues which may lead to either a Classic or Vascular typing -- which I'm not at all happy about. I have had a ton of surgeries to keep me mobile -- including bilateral TKR -- 2 years ago -- and I am awaiting a date for revisions (I now need something called " double hinged, rotating " prosthetics. -- Has anyone had to get these? I am also being seen by the Chronic Pain Program Director at Cleveland Clinic -- Covington. You might be interested to know that one of the programs he directs is going to be featured on The TODAY Show on Thursday (April 29). I have had several disc surgeries -- and today got word that I need to see a spine surgeon again -- I'm not happy about that either. I am planning on being in Buffalo with my neice (14) this summer to see if there might be new energy and some fun to come from all this! Hope to meet a number of you there! blessings, pam
