Guest guest
Barb, Where in CA? The cost of living here is tremendous, at least in northern CA. Just last Fall we were touted as being THE most expensive place to live in the US, including Hawaii and Alaska. Not a wonderful attribute, to my way of thinking. Those of us who were raised here, went to school here, and started careers here, are chased out by costs if we lose even a few feet of financial ground. I am always on the cust of having to relocate due to my fixed income. Kind of scary. The good part is, it has a wonderful climate, rarely snows, rarely goes above 100 F in summer, and is averaged out to a temp of 73 F. year round. We have some extremes, but they only last a few days, and the fog rolls in off the Pacific and everything cools down again. I'm glad the Neurontin is helping you. It just made me worse, and worse. Didn't do a thing for nerve pain, and I called it New Rotten. So happy it is working for you. Ain't Lupus wonderful? Every one has a different profile. No wonder it is so hard to dx and treat. Sheesh. I have slept most of today away. Was up and down all night in pain and peeing because of the diuretics. Took something for pain at 10 a.m., had some breakfast and went to my room to read. Next thing I knew, it was 2 p.m. and the pain was back. But, at least I got some sleep out of the deal. Always welcome, even though the boys get bored out of their skulls when it's raining out and I am too sick to go anywhere. Hopefully, I'll start feeling better soon, and we can get back to our Saturday adventure days. I really miss getting out and going places. Take care, honey, and let me know where in CA your hubby is talking about. Love, MM
