Well, guys, I'm kinda apprehensive about the conference now. L If I have

to

have surgery, I'm not sure how long I'd have to be 'homebound' or whatever,

or if they would approve me flying by that time. Any ideas??? I'm so

scared

I won't be able to go! I've been really depressed about this. I'll let you

all know though - but please pray that I can still attend!

Lana..... YOU WILL BE IN BUFFALO!!! That's it, a decision has been made,

upstairs. And don't worry, you may not be alone. It's a real possibility

that I

will have to have my ankle fused again, before the conference. It was done

last April (2003), pain increased, Dr. thought the pain was from the screw,

so

he operated again in August to remove the screw. Pain increased.

All radiology he did was negative, until he was about to tell me I was nuts.

We did a CT. Big surprise, the fusion was 90%+ non-fused. I was the one

that was " scr....wed! " We've been trying to get it to refuse conservatively

with an AFO & an electronic bone growth stimulator. Just had a repeat CT.

Should know soon. We will all be there, even if it's with electric wheels &

lots

of drugs & maybe Mike will help us too!
