MRI > Hi all > Just looking for some thought & prayers & good luck. I am having an MRI done on my head today as something showed up on my CT which was done last week. I am so claustrophobic however I will get them to cover my eyes and I will take an Ativan just prior. I wonder if these tests will ever stop. > Thanks so much > Betty > > >
Guest guest
Hi Betty. Hope it goes ok for you. I take xanax for things like this. And, all the MRI's I've had, they gave me headphones to listen to whatever radio station I wanted, and a towel to put over my eyes. Just make sure you don't open your eyes at all, keep the towel on, and you'll be ok. And, they can talk to you, and they can hear you, so if you get uncomfortable, just speak up, and they'll help. They are always listening. Big Hugs,
Guest guest
Good luck Betty!!! I too, am claustrophobic in the MRI machine. I cover my eyes and take ativan. Do they have headphones to listen to music in your MRI machines? That helps too! Good luck! MRI Hi all Just looking for some thought & prayers & good luck. I will be keeping you in my thoughts and prayers. And you are right -- I don't think the tests will ever stop!!!!!!!!!! Hopefully, they will be painless and easy to do!!
