I am in the hearing stage (not scheduled yet) but I TOO SENT IN full

documentation. I think it was about 8 inches worth!

My new attorney said it is one simple thing.....

" Debbi, it is your age. They look at my age and deny without opening the 8 inch

file. "

My age is what kept me from getting it too. That one simple thing was the cause

of the denials for 5 years. I was 27.5 when first filing. What do they think

being older will do? That we might be able to outgrow it, like it's a stage

we're going through? <lol>

It ticks me off when I hear we're being denied. After all we would rather be

working- if there was any way possible we could.

By the time we file we're fortunate we're even able to take care of ourselves,

much less hold a job.
