I never tried cream of tarter in mine. I

just whip it up and slowly add sugar and vanilla, whip till stiff. YUMM I

don’t measure, just sample.

either skimmed it off for coffee, whipping, etc. or you shook it up into the

milk. (That idea sure wouldn't go over in this day and age of skim

milk) Now, if you are talking about how to whip up whipping cream that

you buy in the store....I'm not real sure off hand what amounts are used

but... you whip the cream with some cream of tartar (in the olds days we

didn't use this). When you have your soft peaks you slowly add

the sugar.
