Guest guest
To the Group! We have a wonderful group of people here and loads of understanding of what you are going through.....When you are really having problems dealing with these strange and complicated illnesses .....there Will always be some one there at just the right time with just the right words to help you to cope. ..I love MY LUPIES and am sure you will too!....It sounds like you hava a wonderful family, your husband is great to take one day a week to help you with the housework.....now if we could just get that daughter of yours on board......I am also a neatness freak and a messy house drives me crazy! I am 60 years old and live alone .....so I don't have anyone but myself to blame when things get messy. I just try to pick up after myself as I go , and keep things as organized as possible. I had my 12 yr old grand daughter with me for a few days last week while my daughter was in the hospital for a hernia repair......and thought.....this would be a good time to get some help with some of the things that are hard for me.....like vacuuming!......WRONG!!..... I asked to vacuum for me......she whined ....but I got the vacuum out anyway......I moved the coffee table out of the way.....plugged in the vacuum ,and gave it to her.....then I left the room for a few minutes......When I came back in ....she had vacuumed where I had moved the table ....then put the vacuum away....Thank you very Much!! She did however fix all her own meals and clean up after......which consisted of heating a T.V. dinner in the Microwave, and throwing the container in the trash.!! I look forward to getting to know you better. Hello I am new to the group Hi Everyone,My name is Golanv in English it means Raven. Guest guest
Golanv, Welcome to the group! In '93 I was diagnosed with Mixed Connective Tissue Disease. In '02 I was diagnosed with SLE. I'm now 22 years old and I'm a clean freak myself. Even if your daughter is lazy she should help out more because you're sick and you won't be able to do all the things that you used to do. My mom was an LPN and she missing helping people too. I hope that you'll enjoy this group as much as I have. -. Guest guest
Golanv, what a beautiful name. Welcome to our group. I hope you will soon find ways to be at peace with not doing things they way you used to. You definitely need to try. I am also very serious about house work and everything being in its place. But, there are days when you wouldn't believe it (like today). I have three boys: almost 4, 7 and almost 10.They help me a lot, but still there are days when the house is turned upside down. And sometimes you just have to let it be and let others take care of it, or take care of it later. It seems you have great help with your hubby and your daughter. Hope you feel good in our group and that you will find most of the answers to your questions.
