The weather has been really scarey around here .......almost every night there are severe weather warnings and tornado watches and flash flood warnings. My Grand daughter is a real beauty at 12, even though It caused me a lot of pain to take her to the swimming pool .........each time she came up for air and flashed that gorgeous smile at me ......it made it all worth while. Re weather related Dear . . . glad you had no weather related shut-downs last week.My daughter drove to Houston this weekend and said she got caught inyour severe weather and had to pray out loud (her words) to get homesafely because it hit as she was driving from Dallas to her home inGarland. She said it was a big relief to get the storm behind her. Toput it mildly. Sounds as if you have a nice 12 year old granddaughter. I understandabout keeping them from getting bored. However I think it's okay forthem to slow down and take it easy once in a while. Visiting grandmahas its own rewards whether, at 12, they realize it or not. You soundlike a good grandma to me.
