Guest guest
What about Sweet. I know it's an adjective, but it sounds good. If all of you use that description? I am so happy you found something to help you get out of a slump. It is so important to be able to relate to something else than yourself. Or if you're thinking about yourself than try and do so in positive terms. The world changes so much when you do that, doesn't it? My friends keep telling me, I don't know how you do it. I could never go through all the stuff you have gone through. I tell them, I'm not that bad, I know people a lot worse of, and I don't consider myself "unlucky". I have a wonderful hubby, 3 great kids, a wonderful home full of love. So we get a lot of good stuff, and we get some bad. There has to be a balance, otherwise life would be too boring. In my case family and friends and a lot of love balance out the illness. I just hope my body remembers that for a long, long time so I can enjoy the good stuff for a long time. Mojo Just peeking in..... Hi everyone! I haven't been around to much lately. I have got hundreds and hundreds of posts to read. I doubt I will have the time to read half of them I'm afraid. For those of you who don't know me.......my name is Karol (gonna keep the K ). I am 54, married for 36 years next month, with three grown boys, two fish tanks and two dogs..........and one puppy! I was told I tested positive for Lupus last September after being tested for at least 10 years. I also have ulcerative colitis, which gives me more problems currently than anything, and occasional bouts of iritis. Lately I've been kind of down in the dumps.....but things are on the up swing right now. Welcome to all the newbies.....my gosh.....there are so many of you! I noticed, from scanning the subject of the posts that we have some dog lovers. I peeked at a few of those posts and saw a few puppies mentioned. Mind if I show you my new family member? This lil sweetie came to live with us just four days ago! She's a 7 week old Border Collie. She doesn't have a name yet, got any ideas? Let me tell you....she is a pistol! I have two other dogs, one mini Australian shepherd Andy who is 8 years old and my naughty girl Willow, a Brittany, still a puppy in her mind even thought she is 3 years old, who is sooooo jealous right now. Needless to say, I will be preoccupied for a few weeks but I will stop in here every chance I get! I hope everyone had a fun & pain free weekend! Hugs...... Guest guest
Hi Mojo, You are right. I do try to look on the positive side of things and succeed....most times. Do you believe in bio-rhythms? When ever I get on the low side I always blame it on that. Sounds good to me. However.....I never stay down for long. I too have a wonderful husband and family. If I ever lost them then I would be in trouble. My husband is my best friend and we do everything we can to support each other. So far so good......we've been at it for 36 years next month! Thanks for the nice name but we have all finely agreed on a name. Earlier today I was calling the puppy Maddy but the name has changed. I took my dogs to the pond this morning for some exercise and was impressed how fast my little tiny puppy can run. She was jetting around the yard and doing her best to keep up with Willow, my Brittany. We all agree, for once, on the name Jetta. Here she is. Re: Just peeking in.....for Karol What about Sweet. Guest guest
We finely decided on Jetta! What do you think? It fits her perfectly! I am so relieved to finely have a name. Thanks for your suggestions! Re: Just peeking in.....for Karol >What about Sweet. I know it's an adjective, but it sounds good. If all of you use that description? Guest guest
Sounds good for a girl who is jet-propelled! I'll have to remember that one the next time I have a litter if there is one that goes to a home that wants to do agility.
