He uses Abreva.....works real good so long as you use it at the first sign of a cold sore. Karol cold sores and lip swelling to , I had the same problem happen to me recently. I never get cold sores and I got one. As soon as it started to appear I put Ambesol on it but it just kept getting bigger and took forever to go away. I have frequent sores in my mouth.
