Out in Lupie pain

Well it's been pure hell for the last 2 weeks. I just didn't know

what was happening to me. It started with my face turning into a

balloon. Which would come and go. Then my feet and hands began

looking like balloons. Then the doors opened up the I couldn't

believe. It was May 24th @ 7:00 a.m. I called my son up to wish

him a Happy 29th Birthday. I then walked outside so I couldn't give

my neighbors dogs a treat. I was still tlking to my son who liveed

up in Hemet. 1-2 hours away. When I kneld down on the grass I felt

this horefic pain on my right leg. I screem threw the phone. and I

guess I went right back for more. Cause what ever it was it bite my

left leg to. By then my right leg to my toes already started to

swell. I managed to get to the phone. wasn't sure what

happened. I told him. Call the Paramedic. Okay.I walked into the

house. I kept on the land phone. They got there in no more

than 5 min. By the time they got there. Both legs and feet were

bad. This one paramedic went outside to see if he could find what

bite me. In the mean time they were getting me ready to go to the

hospital. When the one came in from outside, I found it. One huge

black widow spider. They had me doctor on the other line. We have

that surum on the truck. They gave it to me at once. Well I still

went to work at 11:30 But by 4:00 my feet were turning blue. So I

went to get my wallet out of my purse so I could call the doctor. I

was to get off at 5:30. So I kept my wallet with me. When it was

time for me to go. I put my wallet back into my purse. Got the rest

off my stuff ready to go. When A Parent came in to ask why I was

Limping when I told her and the showed her the spider. She said her

son would like to see this too. Alright. I'm just going to tell

the teacher across the hall I'm leaving. As I was walking out og

her room Her son went running out of mine yelling Mom I'm coming...

I then went to grab my stuff and I went home... Now at 9:20 I call

came throught from my sercurity company at the bank. Were just

calling to see if you had used your Visa card last night. No I said.

I then went to get my wallet, GONE. The Police has been notified.

And I'll tell you all what happens later. Now I'm In the biggest

Lupus Flare I've ever been in. My neck is in so much pain I start

injections on tuesday. I'm still swelled. And he put me back on

Dexamethasone, Pain medicine and I'm still here. Well I'd better be

I am so sorry you have had to endure this. Thank God the paramedics

had the serum but are you nuts? Why would you go to work? Please take

it easy, and rest. We worry about you. Keep us posted. BTW fill us in

on the visa when you can.

-I am so sorry to hear what happened to you that must be terrible!

I hate spiders and I find black widows around my front door every

year in the spring. I spray everything in the area but they seem to

keep coming back. I sure hope you are okay. My friend got a spider

bite and her leg swelled up and turned black and blue too. She did

okay but it took awhile. I hope you get well soon and the pain is

at least tolerable for you. I too will keep you in my prayers.

I went to work because I didn't want to lose my job. Since It seems as though everything bad happens to me there. And they already put me on Sub-status. And now that I have the school age group back I don't want to lose it again. So I just afraid if I don't go in no matter what My job would be history. Busy BUZZ...BUZZ....
