Guest guest
Jerri, what anti-inflamitories (if any) are you taking? I've been taking Celebrex for about a year, and then devloped GReD and started taking Prevacid, and then developed frequent migraines... the thing is, I found out Prevacid can cause migraines, so I stopped taking that. Then I wondered if the Celebrex could be causing some of the GI issues so I stopped taking THAT... now I'm in pain 24/7, but a LOT less STOMACHE trouble, though the intestines are still... well, how to be delicate about this? " messy " ... Sometimes I wonder if all the meds we take are worth it, or if they only end up causing more problems. ~Kate > UUUggghhhh - spoke too soon! Now my guts are simply on fire! Guest guest
LOL - I stay " messy " as you put it. I had my gall bladder out in 1995. I've only had about a dozen " normal " stools since. Yeah, I know TMI - but the facts are the facts. LOL I've had GERD for years. My 10 year old son has it too. I use to take celebrex but stopped due to tummy troubles. I only take Plaquenil now and occasional Ibuprofen for joint issues. I take a ton of other med though. I'm seeing one doc today and will ask if my Nexxium comes in a higher dose. Thanks for the info on Prevacid and migraines...I'd rather have tummy troubles than more migraines. I have enough of those on my own! I know what you mean about the meds and side effects! What doesn't help us may kill us huh? Thankfully, life goes on... Jerri > Jerri, > > what anti-inflamitories (if any) are you taking?
