LOL! Tell her for me that I too had mono and got to eat like a pig for almost 6 months! Problem is... it stuck! LOL! Mono is not fun and very often left undiagnosed. I had it my freshman year at USC and the only reason it was diagnosed is because there was an epidemic in the dorm. Some of the freshman had to do the whole year over again. I went home from the dorm for 2 months and got nursed by my nurse mom which is the only reason I passed my classes. Not fun... .... do you think you should be considering another ped? Just a thought! Guest guest
; It is my understanding that epstein barr lies dormant in the system and once exposed it does not go away. I have also read that it is a precurser to CFIDS. My daughter had it in high school; tested positive to Epstein Barr; and tends to get exhausted easily since. I can't really say that she gets more exhausted then her sister and I (who also have EDS); so it well could be the EDS making her tired and not the flared Epstein Barr.... Or it could be that all three of us test positive for EB.
