I've had an easier time lately when I'm outside since one of my daughters gave me a hat with a broad brim that is treated with anti-uv properties. It's a unisex hat, straw with a black band and looks pretty good actually. It can be dressy or casual. The underside of the brim plus the very top of the crown are the two parts that are treated. It's made by a well known sports equip company. Don't know if I can mention brand names. The cost is around $25. She's a tennis coach and has access to the latest in hats, clothes, etc. for people who are outside a lot. Note for Cheryl in Ca: I'm thinking of you and hoping a new door will open soon.
