Guest guest
> Thanks . I was home alone with her. I was terrified because she was crying and bleeding like crazy. We were planning to have a photo session. I guess will have to wait until her face comes to her normal beauty. > Poor dear! I'm glad she's not hurt any worse. Head wounds can be so very frightening because they bleed so badly. Will she let you hold ice on it to bring the swelling down? never would so I understand if you can't. Guest guest
> Thanks Debbie. I actually feel guilty I should've been more careful > since she is so active, but she'd never hurt herself so bad before. > Cecilia, Don't feel guilty. Kids are quick and accidents happen. I know you want to protect her from any pain, but it's just not possible. You're a very good mother but you can't be on alert all the time. It's just not humanly possible. Guest guest
AWWWWW... Poor baby...At least she's smiling! What a fat lip! Penny Dessiree had an accident Importance: High Yesterday she was playing with finger paint in the bathtub (sensory stimulation) she likes it a lot. She paints all her body with different colors she asks and then she takes a bath. She was enjoying herself and wanted to see her body on the mirror so she stood up and all of a sudden she slipped and hit her mouth pretty bad. I was terrified she was bleeding so hard that I could see what happened her teeth looked different.
Guest guest
She didn't like the ice. She is better now. Guest guest
Cecilia: I am sorry about Dessiree's accident. For some unknown reason I was unable to access the photos, but I gather she had a pretty swollen lip. Poor baby. Salli

And once again, I am sooo impressed that a doctor will come to your house to see her. That is wonderful! Guest guest
I'm late to respond here, but, poor Dessiree! I can only imagine how frightening that experience must have been for you. Luckily children are resilliant creatures. I'm guessing it was more traumatic for you than for her. hugs to Dessiree, (SAHM in GA) MSN elizabethloht@... n 33, mo, no formal dx Phoebe, 9 wks
