Guest guest
Bonnie, Is this the statue you were referring to, by any chance? http://www.ricksteves.com/news/0208/sansevero.htm Another view can be found here (look at the entry for May 22 if it doesn't immediately link to the right section) http://faculty.ed.umuc.edu/~jmatthew/naples/blog18.htm#may22 > My neighbor saw the latest Travels in Europe with Rick Steves. Guest guest
Bonnie, I'm happy to help! It's funny, I did a quick Google search for " 'Rick Steves' and Italy " and was able to find a link fairly quickly, mostly because I assumed it was located in a church and only looked at links to Italian churches. Then, when I went to reply with the site I had found, I was so surprised to see no mention of Italy in your opriginal post, just that the show was about Europe! I guess it just seemed like an Italian-type sculpture... Or maybe I do have some of the psychic abilities that have been discussed on this list after all (although I seriously doubt this would count). I spent a month in Italy a couple years ago, but didn't make it down to Naples, so I didn't get to see this sculpture first-hand. I'm sure my sister, who majored in art and lives in Florence, has though. It sounds incredible. >> > I heard back from my neighbor. This is the statue he was looking for. He says to say a GREAT BIG THANK YOU!!! > > Thank you from me too. I had looked at Rick Steve's website but didn't find it there... >
