Guest guest Posted April 2, 2004 Report Share Posted April 2, 2004 Just thought I'd let you know that accupressure a la Gach helped with my daughter's stuffed up nose. She woke up and couldn't breathe because she was so stuffed up. she also had a sore throat and fever. It hurt her to breathe through her mouth because her throat was so sore - you know - the typical thing. So I did the sinus protocal from Gach and threw in a couple of the TMJ ones that I just knew (she has tmj issues) and she started feeling better right away and after about 15 min she was able to breathe normally through her nose and was able to go back to sleep and slept for an additional 3 hours. Even now her nose is not stuffed up. I did put vicks vapor rub on her chest because I know that helps unstuff noses, too. Mike - I paid attention to the energy - even though I could hardly stay awake myself. I felt a warming sensation in my fingers when I had them on her face. I didn't push the accupressure points on her head - I just laid my palm on them and I felt a pulse - but in my tired state it could have been my own pulse - I don't know. I often have a stuffy nose and don't want to use Otrivin. It is so annoying if you have a stuffed nose when you are going to sleep. It can annoy me so much I am unable to get any sleep...
