Guest guest
How very strange, Mike! Or maybe it's not? Do you know if others felt these sensations in their bodies, or was it just you?? To me, that would be kind of scary, but I'm sure to you, it was just more of what you usually feel. -------------- No, that was just me today, not the others. And also no, it was not at all scary. I am very used to feeling the energy pulsing in my hands - happens all the time. I am also used to feeling the full body sensation and far more than what happened today. I have actually had the full body thing happen twice - once in a class a few months ago and once in Detroit. The class episode happened during a good emotional release while my shoulder was being worked on. During that one, I could feel or sense the energy moving vertically up and down all the meridians. In Detroit, it did the meridians to start and then went berserk. I ended up feeling ALL of the channels, motor spirals, and chakras, one by one. What was strange or interesting about today was two things. The first is that we do these exercises the start of EVERY class day. Between my Jin Shin Do and Polarity classes, this is at least 35-40 days worth of doing them. I will always feel the energy in my palms or between my hands. This is the only time it has expanded beyond that. Looking at it another way, this is the only time I have been able to get that full body energetic awareness outside of being worked on energetically by someone else. Again, it was not at all scary. I found it to be an interesting and even fascinating development. More than anything else, it intrigued me, like " ok, what next? " Kind of like maybe my power level got kicked up another notch. And on that note, I wouldn't be surprised. During my afternoon session, I was working on someone who is both a PT and LMP. She also has had a lot of problems over the years with surgeries, etc. At any rate, I ended up freeing up her shoulder, shifted her left SI joint, and totally realigned her left knee cap. ALL of it was done energetically. And I do NOT mean that the sensations that were felt were just energetic sensations. I am talking about her knee totally realigning itself physically. You could see and feel the structures shifting around in her knee. She hasn't been able to do more walk on it at moderate speed for about two years. When I was done, her posture had shifted and she told me she felt like she could run on it with no problem.
Guest guest
--- In ceda , " Bonnie Heintskill " Regarding your ability to see all around the room with your eyes closed.... Maybe it was an astral projection? Feeling the meridians - is that similar to what I experience with you? When I felt the energy go down meridians??? Can you explain more about feeling the chakras? Are you talking about more " energy " in each specific chakra - was it vibrating, humming, electric??? ------------------ The eye/vision thing is hard to describe. It doesn't feel like any kind of out of body experience - just an expanded awareness. It is like a visual awareness except my eyes are closed and the " awareness " extends beyond what would be my open-eyes line of sight. As for feeling the energy, the sensations are similar to what I feel when I am treating someone. In other words, all over the board. You have to keep in mind that the body has numerous rhythms and energetic patterns. What I am sensing is undoubtedly a combination of them. Some are fairly easy for me to identify, others less so. As examples, the cranialsacral rhythm is like a rhythmic pulse that rolls out and back from the center line of the body and back toward the center line. The energy in the base, paired, meridians feels a bit like a humming or buzzing current running vertically up and down the body. The individual Chakras swirl in a spiral pattern centered over the specific Chakra. Then there are some that seem to spiral around the body in a head to toe pattern and others that spiral around the body like it is being wrapped in a cocoon. On these, I don't know if they are part of the polarity motor spirals, the eight extra acupressure meridians or a combination of the two. When they are all firing at the same time it can be a bit confusing trying to sort them out. You basically just focus your intention on them individually to separate them. And again, everyone senses energy in their own way. I sense it as a physical feeling. On the other hand, I have classmates who sense it as colors, sound, tastes, textures. It varies from person to person. You might be " feeling " the same thing but you perceive it differently. I generally just " feel " it. I have, however, had two major and a couple of minor episodes where I had a visual element tossed in as well. The two major ones were the ones I mentioned earlier - in class and in Detroit. In those cases, in addition to " feeling " the movement of energy, I also had a " visual " sensation in my mind of the energy moving in channels like a light grey shadow. The wierd eye thing, feeling the energy move thruout the body, and seeing colors when either being worked on or working on someone else, are all fairly recent developments. With the one exception in class a few months ago, all of it has suddenly developed in the last two months. As to why or what it means - can't tell you, don't know. I suspect, however, that it means my energetic rheostat has been kicked up another notch. That has been the pattern for the last couple of years. I would take a class, come home, and find that I was starting to feel something " new " or be able to do something " different. " And it would be sporadic for awhile. After a month or so, I would just absorb it as part of whatever it is that I am or do and move on - it would become routine. A bit like putting a subluxed rib or vertebrae back in place energetically. The first time or two that it happened it was like " whoa Nellie - what's happening here. " Kind of freaked me out. Now? I not only routinely do it all the time, I will go into a session with the full expectation of being able to do it. One of the reasons that I am posting as much as I am now on some of this from my perspective is that others on the list are starting to play around with my polarity and acupressure suggestions. And in time they are going to go through similar developmental stages. I didn't have someone around to explain to me what was happening to me and I have gone through more mental turmoil adjusting to it than I care to think about. I am just trying to smooth the way for others who set off on the same path so they know what to expect or at least what might happen and what it feels like. Going into some of this blind (as in suddenly having some of it happen) can be very scary if you don't know what to expect. But with knowledge, comes acceptance, and with acceptance - out goes fear. On a side issue to that, you have no idea how satisfying it is to be able to do something like I did yesterday afternoon. I am working on a PT who knows all the standard treatment stuff and has been getting worked on regularly for months, if not longer ... and to be able to get results with her knee energetically in less than five minutes that she has not been able to get at all with standard stuff? No, I don't think I can simply turn my back and walk away from all of this at this point.

Guest guest
I've had no training in any of this and have read very little. My chiro has used many different techniques on me and I pay close attention. However, I'm not sure I always know which technique I'm using so if I call something the wrong thing, please forgive me and correct me : ) When I've done cranialsacral on my daughters I usually feel energy in my hands, up my arms and shoulders and can feel it resonating in my head. I've also done some kind of thing where I gently place my hands on a painful place and my hand will vibrate extreamly fast - but I don't usually feel any energy then - just the uncontrollable vibration. If I do feel any energy it usually is the resonanting type in my head. Sometimes when I'm doing cranialsacral I get the hand vibration thing. When I've done unwinding it's in the same place. When I'm having work done on me I can usually feel energy at the place of injury, but not always. My chiro often picks up a taste when she is working on me. I have only ever worked on my kids - very limited experience.

Regarding your ability to see all around the room with your eyes closed.... Maybe it was an astral projection? I've heard this same experience explained as that. astral projects all the time.... wish I could do that!!! Feeling the meridians - is that similar to what I experience with you?
