Carla: Belated Birthday Wishes!

Hey, Birthday Girl!

We're all so deeply grateful that you were born 47 years ago!

I admire and " R-E-S-P-E-C-T " you so much--and not just because you're my

" elder " (ok.........I concede.... " elder " , true,..but not by very much!!!)

Thanks for your tenacity, your dedication, your honesty, your courage, your

integrity, your smarts. You are truly one hell of a.....well, a . . .

" Do-Right Woman. " "

I know you're probably blushing at my praise....saying to yourself just now:

" Oh, Me, Oh My! "

But really, Carla!!!!!---You and your book, and your ongoing work have had a

huge impact. Many women here might say to you,----Carla, " You're All I need To

Get By. " (Fibroidally, speaking, anyway!!)

As for me, Carla, " Ain't No Way " I'd be doin' as well today-- without your

contributions.

Before you, Carla, all I had to rely on for my fibroid problems was.... one

Gyno of Doom after another--- " A Chain of Fools " --you might say.

I cringe when I think of them all! Every one of those male gynos thought he

was " Mr. Bigstuff. " And all the women gynos were just, well.... " Pitiful. "

Of course, I'd be remiss if I didn't mention Dr. here, too, whose book

helped me immensely, way back when. He certainly deserves a nickname like

" Dr. Feelgood, " don't you agree?

Carla: Your work and your writings have made me--- and so many

others.......... well, made us all....... " Think! "

And then --God Bless you....you started this wonderful list! You got the

ball rolling and now just look at all of us women here ---Thanks to you,---now

..

.. . " The Sisters are Doing it For Themselves! "

So, dear Carla " I say a Little Prayer " that YOU and NUFF may long prosper

and remain " Rock Steady " in your fight.

I'll yell it from the rooftop, if necessary: " People Get

Ready!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! " " Cause with our Carla at the helm, " A Change is

Gonna Come! "
