I have vasculitis - but it is considered responsible for the swelling in my legs! No one has tied it in to my lupus or mentioned any brain involvement. I have gotten the impression it (or at least my) vasculitis is more typical of age and physical condition and influenced by excess weight. (I'm 60 and about 35 lbs. overweight). On the other hand, I haven't had any reason to consult a neurologist... my rheumy and PCP plus an occasional trip to the dermatologist do a good job of keeping my lupus in control.

I had a Brain MRI about a year ago to rule out MS. I cannot abide

being confined in small spaces. Just close your eyes and don't open

them again till they pull you out of the machine. It's not that bad

if you just keep in your " happy " place.
