Guest guest
, Great day four and no cigs! Good for you. I do believe Lindsey needs that inhaler! She may have a touch of asthma, or with the bronchitis some airway constriction. The inhalers come in various medications. The coughing can be bronchial spasms. Anyway, albuterol opens the airways up and stops the bronchial spasms. With pneumonia people usually do have a fever, but I have seen those that do not in my career.. Hugs, Let us know how the Dr's appointment goes! This time she has no choice to refuse to have the inhaler filled at the drug store, sounds like she needs it! day 4 no smoking - and 's lungs and allergies/asthma > Hiya! > Ok, I'll be totally honest. Guest guest
Hi, Thanks. Yea, was rx'd an inhaler. Dr says it's probably asthma, or a bronchial irritation. Dr said to expect to us it fairly regularly for about a week or so. Then, if she still needs to use it a lot, she will need to be re-evaluated, and she may need asthma meds. But, the dr thinks it's more of an allergy thing. And, from the bronchitis. Bronhial asthma I think she said. An inflamation of her bronchial tubes. Anyway, we went right away and got it, and she used it right there while I was paying for it. And, it stopped her coughing again. So, she really needs it. Thanks,

Guest guest
, that's great about the inhaler, that's exactly what she needed! Great for you too with the cigs! S. Guest guest
I am an allergic asthmatic and I get night coughs and have extra meds to take for this (I take 2 preventers Oxis and Pulmicort turbuhalers) as well as ventolin if it has gone to far. I do wheeze sometimes and I get the tight chesty feeling (I also have more than 1 cough). It is possible for asthma to come on later in life (i got diagnosed started symptoms at age 16), also bronchitis, plurisy etc can cause asthma (type) symtoms and can hang on, but I say get her tested for asthma, as it is possible that all of her other lung stuff and her recent bronchitis have started something. I have had such shocking choughs at times that I have had to take codiene medicines to suppress the cough. Sharon > Hiya! > Ok, I'll be totally honest. I took one drag off Tom's cig this > morning.
