Hi,

I am new here. Joined WW for the first time ever last week and I am

enjoying the Flex points. I lost 1.4 lbs. I thought it felt like

more, but any loss is good.

I hate that they weigh in the evening (no I cannot attend any other

meeting.. very rural area). I am at my highest weight then. My co-

worker who has joined and quit WW (and is very neg.) says of course

everyone starves the day of weigh in and does not drink the water

and wears light weight clothes yada yada. Is this generally true? I

ate and drank my water and wore pretty much my ususal clothing (this

is Vermont and it is cold!! - NOT gonna wear shorts !!). Figured I

weigh what I weigh. My own scale says a LOT lower when I weigh first

thing in the morning!

Also, I intend to make the spag. sauce recipe listed in my welcome

book. Anyone made it? Is it good? I thought I would doctor it up

with mushrooms and other no point foods to give it more texture and

make it more filling.

Also.. everyone talks about the " ice cream sandwich " made with choc.

graham crackers and FF Cool Whip. I was thinking of making them

with FF cream cheese as I am not a Cool Whip fan. Do you have to buy

low fat grahams to make them just one point per sq. sandwich?

Thanks for any comments/advice.

P.S. I am on another board for diet/healthy living and we chat it up

galore (and I love that.. have made good friends and we all know all

about each other's families and lives), but I did join this board

as it seemed to stick directly to the subject of WW. Maybe because I

get my fill of " OT chat " on the other board, I found this one

refreshing. Hope it can stay that way!

Debbie
