Guest guest
I'm sorry to hear this news, Lana. I wish I had some info or advice to share with you, but I'm afraid I don't have personal expreience with the problems you described. I will be thinking of you, however, and keeping my fingers crossed that there is an easy solution that does not involve more pain!

I believe mine is bone on bone in one area. Oh well, deal with it when it comes! In the meantime, I have a massage set up with Betty tomorrow after work, so maybe that will help a little also. It did help some last time. Thanks again! Love Lana
Guest guest
> My second comment is that if you do in fact have bone spurs then you need to be even more cautious than ever about any kind of forceful, as in thrust adjustment, spinal manipulations. I am not saying that they are necessarily totally contraindicated, but I would be extremely careful about it because of potential risk of damaging the spinal cord. There are other less invasive and much safer techniques that can be used if you do have subluxed vertebrae from time to time. I totally agree, Mike! I have another appt. with Betty tomorrow after work, and she knows what's going on, as she called me today at work (which I thought was VERY thoughtful!). I told her what my doctor told me, and she asked how I was doing regarding my water intake (much better, by the way - I'm proud of myself!) and I also told her I'm watching my diet, which she was tickled about. I told her I bought the greens (which are pretty yucky, but I have gotten a couple glasses down) and she said that it's an acquired taste, and to just take it slow. I'm excited to see her again. I wanted to talk to my dr. before making the appt. and I just saw him yesterday. I told her about the horrible night last Friday. Thanks once again for sending me in her direction, Mike! Guest guest
Lana, I think I sent you another message that hasn't popped up yet. Yes it may require surgery depending on what shows up. As for alternatives, ask you Dr. or Mike, he's the excellent expert in this area. Love, S. Guest guest
Lana,,, when you go to get the mri done, arrange to get a copy. Then send it to Dr. Dan Heffez in Chicago. He will look at them and call you about them. I posted you privately about all of that. You can get the films on a CD to make mailing them easy.
