We are currently on round 4 using DMSA/ALA and our son starts getting very

loose stools as soon as we start the round to the point where he can't always

control it! Has anyone else experienced this or knows what might be causing

it?

DMSA did this for my children, ALA balanced this to some extend.

Don't have the answer, but we are almost exactly alike here except

just completed round five. Not making the potty.

Yeast and/or bacteria did this for my son in the early stages of

chelation.

My son had the same problem when I started ALA. I added Permavite

(Allergy Research Group) which seemed to help and his stools were no

longer loose on chelation days.
