Guest guest Posted December 16, 2004 Report Share Posted December 16, 2004 Hello All, I have been falling by the wayside a bit with all the holiday functions at work as well as outside of work. I haven't been eating out of control, but I haven't journaled or really exercised over the past couple of weeks...and boy I can tell a difference. Won't be able to dry the jeans for awhile. I a free from work starting tomorrow until Jan 4th so, I have over two weeks to get my arse in gear for the New Year.... I do the at work program, but the leader is less then motivated and she lets a few people from the group monopolize the meeting. So, I am going to venture off to find a new Leader, meeting day, and time. I will probably do Saturday Mornings, but also pop my head in to listen to the Wednesday night leader Barb. She is excellent and motivated one of my other friends to lose close to 70 lbs (who has kept it off for two years). Go Val!!!! I am going to buy my best friend in the whole wide world (Jen) a membership to WW (yes, I did run this by her first...I wanted to make sure she was offended) so, we can do this journey togehter. The new package's come out Jan 8th, but I think we are going to sign up the last week of the year so, we can both wanted to start the New Year on the right foot. We have always dieted together and I told her enough diets...lets get on a program together that isn't a diet...WW. She agreed we both need to lose weight and we both need the support of one another to do so. So, my rededication has started and I am going to start weighing in on Saturdays until Jen gets on the WW wagon. I love this work and feeling so comfortable to share my downfalls and pick-me-ups!!!
