Kris,

Good for you, for stocking up on the low-point snacks. I've found that it's

critical to have substitutions that I really enjoy instead of the trigger

foods. Hopefully it will also help you to get back to eating more

frequently. That sure does work for me.

Someone has said that when our focus softens or we feel like we're getting

off track, we need to " start over " -- meaning, go back to the zeal and

approach we had when we first started. Sometimes it helps to look at our

old journal pages (yes, I have every single page since Day One!) to see how

we were successful back then. I know that you know how to do this..... the

move has just shifted your attention. But you're getting it back, I can

tell!!

I agree, Bette. When I have gotten to this point, I try to take my

slider to the grocery store for some leisurely shopping to find new

things to try. It does seem to help the boredom. Or, I will set a

new goal, or read up on success stories online.

As far as stocking up, I agree that finding equivalents really

helps. When I buy my hubby Drumsticks, I buy myself WW Big ice

cream cones, if he gets ice cream sandwiches, I get skinny cows.

This keeps me from looking longingly at his treats wishing I could

eat what he does.

I've just learned about myself, though, that if it's near hormonal

time, I shouldn't stock up on treats. If I have a bunch of

different treats around during TOM I want to have one of each of

them. I can really get out of control. I've learned that I just

need something chocolaty in single servings when I'm feeling

hormonal. (Sorry, men, TMI, I know)
