Guest guest
Had a good weigh-in. Down 1.8#. I was happy I was having trouble with hunger. Being only my third week back on the program, I didn't want to get frustrated already! After speaking to a few people, I remembered that the last time I was with WW (in 2001), we learned how to listen to our body and see what satisfied our hunger more between meal: protein, or carbs, or a combination. Mine was protein. So I have incorporated more protein in my snacks. A great 1-pt. snack is 2 slices Healthy Choice Deli meat and 1 slice fat-free cheese, rolled up in a snack baggie. Then I eat my fruit or raw veggies. It really helps get me to lunch or to dinner! Regarding the 35 weekly allowance points: I have heard it said that 1 pt. is roughly 50 calories. So the 35 pts would equal roughly 1750 calories in a week. True? It takes 3500 calories to equal 1 pound. So, in my mind, one could " play around " with the 35 pts and by not eating them, could maybe lose another ½ lb in a week? What do others have to say? Thanks for listening Becky in Boise 194.4/188.0/
